Founded in 1999 when the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio and Houston combined their health care systems. Includes more than 40 hospitals and facilities in Texas, as well as locations in four other states and Mexico . Employs more than 16,531 people. Ranked among the top 10 Catholic health care systems in the U.S.

Dubuis Health System

Founded in 1993 in Alexandria, Louisiana and named after Catholic Bishop Claude Marie Dubuis. Includes 14 hospitals in five states, six of which are in Texas. Employs approximately 1,350 associates. As the country's largest not for profit long term acute care health system, Dubuis provides acute care services for patients needing extended hospitalization.

Providence Health Care Network

Founded in 1905 at the request of local businessmen, making it the first hospital in Waco. Member of Ascension Health. Provides inpatient, outpatient, long-term, and mental health care, as well as chemical dependency treatment. Employs 1,224 full-time employees and 568 part-time employees for a total workforce of 1,792. Providence Health Center was recognized in 2003 as one of America's Top 100 Heart Hospitals. The network also operates Providence Park which includes a variety of housing options ranging from independent living to assisted living to long-term care serving older adults.

SETON Healthcare Network

Member of Ascension Health and the leading provider of health care services in Central Texas. Founded by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, who came to America from France primarily through the efforts of Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American-born Catholic saint. Originated in Austin in 1902 as a 40-bed infirmary; now a network of more than 20 sites and facilities in the Central Texas area. Third largest private employer in the Austin area, with more than 7,800 employees and a medical staff membership of more than 1,600 physicians.

St. Joseph Health System

Part of the Franciscan Services Corporation. Employs more than 2,000 people and serves Brazos Valley area. Origin dates to 1913 with the completion of Bryan Hospital. The Emergency Services Department of SJRHC is designated as a Level III Trauma Center, the first level III Center in the 7-county region. Today SJHS includes 25 hospitals and facilities in Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Lee, Leon, Madison and Robertson counties, and is in partnership with Trinity Medical Center, Brenham, in Washington County.

Trinity Health Services Corporation

Sponsored by the Franciscan Services Corporation, Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio. Serves seven neighboring counties and reports an employee base of 403. Corporation includes 60-bed Trinity Medical Center (a Level III general trauma center); Trinity Care Center, a 120-bed facility that offers long-term comprehensive skilled and rehabilitative nursing care services; Trinity Family Practice; Trinity Physical Rehabilitation Center; Trinity Wellness Center and Trinity Health Services Foundation.

Trinity-Mother Frances Health System

Founded in 1937 by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, serves Tyler and the surrounding areas, with hospitals in Tyler and Jacksonville, as well as clinics in Tyler, Jacksonville, Athens, Canton, Chandler, Henderson, Kilgore, Lake Palestine, Lindale, Mineola, Quitman and Whitehouse. Employs 3,500 people, including 132 physicians representing 23 medical specialties, such as obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, rheumatology, and sports medicine.
